About the Sitabani Zone

Sitabani is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas and features a mix of Sal forests, riverine vegetation, and open grasslands. The region is dotted with small streams and natural ponds, creating a perfect habitat for a wide variety of wildlife. Visitors can encounter Elephants, Deer, Langurs, Wild Boars, and occasionally the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger. Safari Experience

The Sitabani Jeep Safari allows visitors to explore this pristine wilderness in comfort and safety. Each safari vehicle carries up to six guests, accompanied by an experienced driver and a forest guide who provide insights into the flora and fauna of the area. Safaris are conducted in morning and afternoon shifts, offering ample opportunities to spot wildlife and capture stunning photographs.

Best Time to Visit

Sitabani Zone is open from November to June, remaining closed during the monsoon season. The ideal period for wildlife sightings and pleasant weather is between November and April.
